This podcast episode starts out in a thunderstorm and provides all sorts of authentic auditory treats for your listening pleasure from the pound of the rain and thunder to a passing fire truck then to a round of varoom so graciously offered by one of the gym patrons leaving the parking lot. Sound effects aside, this show delves in to the topic of depression in a truly reveling way that demonstrates my thoughts on the subject as I am experiencing the symptoms of depression brought on by discouragement and disappointment in not being able to over come the barrier holding me at bay of accomplishing my career goals.
I find it timely to offer my thoughts on depression as the season of year end festivals and celebrations have a tendency to isolate our thought into self analysis and further feed the depression engine. Although I am not a professional in the mental illness industry I do offer my go-to strategy to temporarily alleviate the symptoms and alter my perspective enough to be functional for a period of time.
